Nu har det dansats två föreställningar av Svansjön här i Hamburg av John Neumeiers dansare!

Neumeiers koreografi och version av Svansjön är lite annorlunda till den vanliga. Den är väldigt intressant och vacker berättelsen.

	ILLUSIONS – like "SWAN LAKE"
	John Neumeier’s interpretation of the classic ballet "Swan Lake" is based on the historical-mythical figure of Bavarian King Ludwig II and his resemblance to the fictional "Swan Lake"-Prince Siegfried. The builder of the fabulous castle Neuschwanstein, Ludwig II, exists in a mystical dream world, caught up in delusions and hallucinations. At the end, the king finds redemption in "his" Swan Lake after an inner struggle and the desperate search for love. "Illusions - like Swan Lake" premiered in Hamburg on May 2nd in 1976. THE HAMBURG BALLET did guest performances in Munich, Paris and Japan. The ballet is also in the repertoire of the Bavarian State Ballet. On the five dates in December, the audience has the opportunity to experience the fairy-tale ballet in three casts: On December 20th and 22nd, the star prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater Diana Vishneva guests in the role of the Princess Natalia. Alexandre Riabko is The King. The Man in the Shadow is danced by Carsten Jung. In the evening performance on December 26th Hélène Bouchet and Thiago Bordin perform The King and Natalia, while Dario Franconi interpretates The Man in the Shadow. On Boxing Day, Alexandre Riabko, Carolina Agüero and Carsten Jung take the lead roles. The part of Odette is danced by Silvia Azzoni on the first three dates and by Anna Laudere on the last two dates.
